NOW AT BROADWAY, BANDRA
House of Tanvi began with something deeply personal — my instinct to create clothes that feel as beautiful as they are meaningful.
I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, I was always sure of how I wanted to dress. And by dressing, I never meant simply what I saw in the mirror. It was the feeling of putting certain colours together, imagining them in a particular silhouette, knowing the hairstyle, the accessories, the entire mood.
I'm Tanvi Doshi, founder and creative director of House of Tanvi. I studied Fashion Design, followed by Styling at the London School of Trends, and later worked as a Visual Merchandiser at Tommy Hilfiger's flagship store in Mumbai. Those experiences gave structure to an instinct I had carried since childhood.
House of Tanvi grew from that sensibility — a love for thoughtful design, Indian craftsmanship and the quiet ease of contemporary dressing.
Every collection begins with a feeling, a memory, a place — or sometimes simply a detail I cannot stop thinking about. From there, we build slowly and intentionally: choosing fabrics, refining silhouettes, and working with the hands that bring soul to every piece.
Luxury is not about excess. It is the beauty of something considered, beautifully made and quietly special.
As the House evolved, so did I. Marriage, family and motherhood have changed the way I look at women, dressing and time. They have made me value ease, intention and individuality even more — and reminded me that beautiful clothes should never ask a woman to become someone else. They should meet her where she is.
Today, House of Tanvi is my interpretation of modern Indian luxury — Indian craft, global ease and a quiet confidence that never needs to announce itself.
Made thoughtfully. Made to be lived in. Made to become a part of your story.
